This road and rail bridge links the cities of Rabat and Salé, spanning the Bouregreg estuary. Inaugurated in May 2011, it has significantly reduced traffic congestion between the two banks. The structure features two roadways (2×3 lanes), a central platform supporting the tramway line, and pedestrian sidewalks.
It was awarded the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2013 for its design, which combines functionality with urban integration. The project was carried out by SGTM in a joint venture, demonstrating Moroccan expertise in civil engineering on a large-scale national landmark.
