SGTM carried out the construction works for the Fairmont Taghazout Bay, a luxury beachfront resort located 15 km from Agadir. This 5-star resort, built between 2016 and 2020, comprises 146 rooms, suites, and villas spread over 18 hectares. SGTM executed the structural works for the low-rise hotel buildings (up to R+2) and the independent villas, ensuring the high-quality finishes required for an upscale establishment. The Fairmont features extensive landscaped gardens, four swimming pools, a spa, and five restaurants, requiring significant external works (internal roads, networks, decorative water features). SGTM adhered to a very strict materials specification (natural stone, locally sourced wood) and sustainability requirements (preservation of on-site argan trees, irrigation water management) to align the project with the eco-friendly approach of the Taghazout resort. The hotel opened to the public in mid-2021, offering approximately 250 beds and creating over 300 direct jobs. This project demonstrates SGTM’s expertise in delivering high-end tourism infrastructure on time for the peak season.
