The high-speed train project involved executing a maximum number of structures within a relatively short timeframe.
On this first section, totaling about 200 kilometers, SGTM set up six major construction sites for very specific types of structures, spread from Kénitra to Tangier.
It featured the Hachef Viaduct, which was the most significant project on the line. To construct this 3.5-kilometer-long structure, it was necessary to overcome geological and sizing constraints.
This extremely long bridge indeed required exceptional foundations, nearly 70 meters deep. In total, there are 23 kilometers of deep foundation in the water. On the other hand, it was necessary to cope with numerous gusts of wind, sometimes reaching up to 170 km/h.
